Owen Sound Ontario Visited (Video)

by Gary McWilliams (aka Festival Nomad)

When I lived in Kincardine, I use to occasionally travel to Owen Sound.

Back then, when I visited it, I wasn’t really aware of the town’s history and charm.

Since then, Judi and I have been to Owen Sound many times, for both pleasure and for medical reasons.

Owen Sound is the hub Grey County and has the region’s main hospital and shopping districts.

First, I want to acknowledge that the Owen Sound and region’s medical facilities and staff are second to none.

Frankly, for Judi and me, “is tops any medical system we have encountered”.

As for our “pleasure” visits, and there have been many, Owen Sound and area offer visitors and residents plenty of fun things to experience and to do.

For example, the Grey Roots Museum and Moreston Heritage Village are within an easy drive as are other museums and galleries.

The Owen Sound Farmers’ Market is open year-round.

Owen Sound is located on the southern shores of Georgian Bay and is the “gateway” to the Bruce Peninsula and all it has to offer!

Make sure you put Owen Sound on your “places to visit list”.

Below is a video of Owen Sound that we produced for our Oh Canada Eh! Game.
