Chatsworth Ontario Visited

by Gary McWilliams (aka Festival Nomad)

Chatsworth is a small Ontario community located south of Owen Sound.

Scoop and I often drive through Chatsworth, on our explorations of the area.

You know the saying, “if there’s a fork in the road, which do you take?

Well, if you are driving south from Owen Sound and you reach Chatsworth

… there is a “fork in the road!

Highway 10 takes to, eventually, to MississaugaToronto, while…

…while Highway 6 takes you to, eventually, Hamilton – Niagara!

As a result, a lot of tourists, especially on summer weekends, “discover” this unique Ontario community!

Actually, the Chatsworth area offers visitors a lot to do.

If you like to explore beautiful waterfalls, Walters Falls is close by.

If you are interested in Ontario’s history and heritage, you can find both at the Grey Roots Museum and Archives and the Moreston Heritage Village. Both tell the story of the area and both share the same property.

And, if you like to “find roads less traveled“, there are plenty of interesting country  roads to explore and experience!

So, if you are driving through Chatsworth, STOP, and explore the region!

Above is our Oh Canada Eh! Game video, enjoy!
